Simply put, the E-Pro is a tool that favors fall-line hunting. The E-Pro is lively, smooth and predictable, able to hold an edge on crust, and capable of punching through crud— guaranteeing your enjoyment in all weather. Using a Hybrid Core, Dynastar designed the E-Pro so that it was able to absorb vibrations and deflections, giving you trust when you need it the most. The part that really impressed our testers the most was how a ski designed to charge hard and be stable at speed also felt light, nimble and extremely quick edge-to-edge, especially in tighter terrain. Most skis are able to excel at one or the other, but the E-Pro is smooth and damp, without losing much of its energy in the process.

This duality makes the E-Pro forgiving for a ski that excels on-piste. It’s best suited for technical skiers and hard-chargers who know how to rip, and we think it will be a quality addition to any skier’s quiver… that is, if you’re someone who wants to arc big turns and charge fast downhill.

The Dynastar E-Pro 99 leans on its internal construction—made from poplar and Titanal strips—for the brunt of its power. But paired with a relatively stiff tail it allows skiers to drive hard through the end of a turn and flip to the other edge quickly. Advanced-to-expert skiers will love that this ski favors those who ski with power and athleticism, not to mention skiers who love directional fall-line drops. We found the E-Pro most fun at speed, putting a smile on our face in morning crud and afternoon slush, alike. When conditions get squirrelly, the ski remains calm and collected. Of all the skis we tested, this was one of our go-to groomer eaters.
